What does Promethia mean?
In the ancient Greek Myth of Prometheus, the God Prometheus tricks the Olympian Gods and steals fire to give to man. He is punished for eternity for this betrayal.
In my telling of the Myth of Promethia, Promethia builds trust with the Gods. It is difficult, and there are many moments on her this journey when she considers abandoning her efforts, but she perseveres. And through forming right relationship with the Gods, she is entrusted to deliver fire to man, and supported by their divinity to spread light throughout the world.
